Football at Broomhill Sports Club.
Every child is welcome to join Broomhill Sports Club. We have a place for everyone. We have a range of playing opportunities from playing in our own Pro Youth Initiative, Local League teams and a Special Needs Section.
Out teams range in age from Under 6s to Adult teams.
Broomhill play and train at a wide range of venues (Please go to the Training Timetable for information on training.) We currently play our home games at Scotsoun, Netherton, Peterson Park, Blairdardie, & Toryglen.
The Club has a Charter that all Parents, Players & Coaches must adhere to. This can be read on this web site or you ask a Coach to get you a paper copy.
We expect and welcome our Parents to be supportive of our teams but will not accept sideline coaching or disrespectful comments towards the opposition, referees or coaches.
Youth Development Squads: Broomhill activly promote players to professional football clubs. The most common way of doing this is through our own development squads playing against Pro Youth or Initiative Teams. These games take place weekly against selected opposition and result in many boys be scouted.

NB. Under Scottish Football regulations children begin to play organised football at Under 9 level. They will play in age groups based on their year of birth not their School year as they do in England. We have found some older P3 children may already be too old to play in the Under 9s group. If you have a child who is one of the oldest in his/her year let us know this at the start of Primary 3. Jobs at Broomhill Sports Club.
We hire sports Coaches on a session basis for our weekly training sessions and camps.
