Football at Broomhill Sports Club. Broomhill play and train at a wide range of venues. Please go to the Training Timetable for information on training. We currently play our 11 aside home games at Netherton, Peterson Park, Blairdardie, Toryglen. Our 7 aside teams play on Sunday mornings at Toryglen and our Saturday teams play at various parks in Paisley and environs. The club football philosophy is can be If you your child joins Broomhill the club has a Charter that both parents and players are asked to observe. Please read both of these documents with you child. We expect and welcome our Parents to be supportive of our teams but will not accept sideline coaching or disrespectful comments towards the opposition, referees or coaches. If you are interested in joining us please phone please contact the appropriate coach or contact the Club Secretary. Pro Youth player development. Broomhill has seen dozens of boys move on to play in the 'Pro Youth' player development program run by professional clubs. We are primarily concerned with the development of players and we are keen to see our children get this opportunity. However over the years we have also seen Boys and their Parents attracted to clubs who are Professional in name only and do not offer the football education that the Pro Youth Development was set up to provide. With this in mind we will actively encourage Boys to take up invitations to join well funded and professional youth development programs. This includes clubs such as Celtic, Rangers, Hamilton, Aberdeen & Hibernian. Where we are approached by other Clubs we will assess what they have to offer and advise Parents accordingly.
