Who Are We?

Welcome to Broomhill Sports Club. Our club is based at more than a dozen venues in the West of Glasgow where we play a range of sports for children aged from 5 to 18 years of age. As our members get older so does the club and we intend to continue offering sporting opportunities as our kids become adults.

We are an inclusive club so membership is open to all regardless of ability. Our aim is to keep children involved in Sport and as such we run teams for all levels of playing ability. Our approach has seen more than a dozen young football players selected for Pro Youth Teams last season and more than one third of Glasgow's District Netball Side are Broomhill Girls. Most importantly we have more that 700 children playing sport for an average of 3 hours per week. We play a wide range of Sports such as Football, Netball, Hockey, Athletics, Karate, and Multi Sports. If we can we will add more sports to our roster, our belief is that by offering a choice for children who fall away from sports such as football they may enjoy the opportunity to take up other sports and remain part of our Broomhill Sports Club with their friends.

Our Coaching standards are very high, all our Volunteers are required to undertake appropriate coaching qualifications and attend regular in-service training. All volunteers are required to complete Disclosure Scotland checks. The club also uses paid professional coaches that offer support and expertise across all our sports. We want to help our young people be healthy individuals who love playing sport and thrive from the comradeship that being part of a Club like Broomhill can offer. It requires commitment and discipline from everyone involved, the club has a charter that sets out what is expected of anyone wanting to be a part of our Club. (See About Us)
